Written Communication for Sergeants: A Self-Paced Text teaches the cadets clear and grammatically correct sentences. The book contains a pretest and a posttest that enable students to quantify their beginning and ending skills.

Because the book is self-paced, the instructor does not have to be certified in the teaching of English. In fact, many instructors complete the text along with their cadets. The average cadet requires twelve to fifteen hours to complete all nine chapters.

The book correlates to the writing portion of state tests required for high-school graduation. Some of the correlations are listed on this site. If your state is not listed and you would like a correlation, contact us, give us the name of the test, and we will prepare a correlation at no charge.
